Full-Day Workshop—The Art of Collage

Discover the importance of collage in the development of modern art, learn new ways of introducing this innovative technique to students, and create your own collage works. Visit the exhibition "Playing with Pictures: The Art of Victorian Photocollage" to see how artists experimented with the new medium of photography, and learn how collage inspired artists as diverse as Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Willem de Kooning, and David Hockney.
